Principal's Message:

Welcome to the Garrison College for Girls Website. It is an honour for me to serve the GCG Community as Principal; and I am overjoyed to be in a position to positively impact the lives of students as well as teachers. My vision for GCG is to continue to build an ideal college environment where students feel safe, comfortable, challenged and engaged in classes (whether that is in person or online).

With a long and rewarding history of achievements the college is committed to provide a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of the students, both academically and socially. With a purpose built campus and seasoned staff, GCG aims to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them. Through an extensive range of co/extra-curricular activities, wholesome participation is encouraged to ensure the well-being and happiness of all the students.

Moving into the final term of the academic year during the aftermath of the Pandemic, we are thankful that we were face to face in the mid-term and got time to know our new students and reconnect with the returning ones. We are grateful that we have had no incidents of transmission of COVID-19 on our campus and above all thankful for the trust our GCG families placed in us as we safely educate their children. We are optimistic that we will continue to share best practices, promote innovative thinking, and drive the improvement of our students’ experiences at the rapid pace that these challenging times call for.

As principal, it is my sincere pleasure to help provide an excellent educational experience for our students to learn and grow in a safe and productive learning environment. I encourage you to stop in or call me to share ideas, concerns, or questions. I wish all our students, great success. Together we will keep the strong tradition of excellent education alive in GCG.

I hope you enjoy your visit to the website and should you wish to contact us, please find details at the top of the page.

Principal (Garrison College for Girls)
Mrs. Saadia Tariq

To throw a conspicuous event in the scholastic memory of our Great Poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a Painting Exhibition was held at GCG campus on November 16. Dr Waheed Zaman (Scholar Iqbaliyat) was invited as Chief Guest, who delivered a fine rhetoric on the life of Iqbal. He had an interactive session with our students as well. He was given a painting as souvenir by one of our artistic students. We are honoured to receive him and grateful having illuminated this event with his majestic presence. GCG will remember.
